They said ‘Cricket is life, everything else is just a game’, We say ‘Lets add little life in our daily routine, especially during this New Normal Days’. Ladies & Gentlemen, Seniors and Juniors – ARPL, our very own cricket league is back again.
‘CRICKET’ is more than just a game for us here, in Airport Residency. More than 600 people of 9 blocks and 295 Flats of Airport Residency, which is located very near to Jessore Road / Birati More (approx. 200 mtrs), have experienced the charm of Cricket since 2020 through our Residential Cricket Tournament ‘ARPL – Airport Residency Premier League’.
ARPL, one of the biggest events of Airport Residency, is a two Days ‘Day & Night’ Cricket Tournament. The first edition of ARPL had 6 teams and each team were represented by their Franchise name. The six franchises went for some of the finest talent available through the players’ auction. Each team had 8 players including one junior player (10 to 18 year) and one-woman player enriching the resident’s belief in women empowerment.
Since 2020, we have witnessed the enthusiastic participation of residents of Airport Residency in our own and exclusive ARPL. Their overwhelming enthusiasm, craziness, widespread excitement, limitless joyful moments made this tournament a highly popular and successful event. ARPL continued to create the bonding of brotherhood, uniformity and enhanced the relationship among the residents who have taken shelter inside Airport Residency even though having different roots, languages and professions. From Kids to Senior Citizens, almost all the Residency members get involved in some of the other way, extending their support & cooperation to make this event successful and the vow to continue this sporting mindset till the time Earth revolves around the Sun.
